Printing and Copying
How to print and copy documents
During the summer of 2024, ÂÌñÒùÆÞ reassessed and rolled out substantial changes to printing and copying services across campus. Please review the details below to learn how this affects you.
Self-Service Printers
Self-service printing is now the primary method to make copies and print on paper. Across campus, many printers have been replaced by new models with a wide range of capabilities.
All new printers offer secure printing for confidential information, such as tests for students. The Faculty Lounge in the Academic Building has one of these printers.
By default, the printers are set to print double-sided and in black & white. These settings can be adjusted per project. Most of the printers on campus can print in color. Printing with the default settings is much less expensive than printing in color.
A detailed Print Guide will be posted at printer locations. It has instructions on the following:
- How to install a new print driver
- Equipment ID stickers
- Service & soner requests
- Recycling
- Sustainability settings
- Secure printing
- Scanning
- FAX

Copy Center
A copy center no longer exists on campus. Instead, please use self-service printing as the primary way to make copies and print on paper.
Graphic Services
If you need to print or copy specialized documents that can not be accomplished through Self-Service Printing, the Graphic Services team can help. Graphic Services can create, print, and copy items such as brochures, business cards, certificates, invitations, postcards, posters, programs, and table tents.
Graphic Services is now located in the Academic Building, room 051.
Graphic Services WILL NOT print or copy routine jobs that can be handled by self-service printing.

FAX
We have reduced the number of fax locations on campus. If you need to use fax capabilities, first try the printer nearest you. Otherwise, here are the main locations:
- Academic Building 011 (Faculty & Staff Lounge)
- Albertus Hall 121 (Main Office)
- JLH Library Circulation Desk
If you have business cards that list a fax number, please verify it is still available and correct. Removed printers that had a fax number associated with them have been forwarded to the closest printer in the area.
PaperCut
Designed for students, PaperCut is a print management software package. It allows students to print from a campus lab computer or wirelessly from a personal computer.
There are five locations for PaperCut Print Kiosks.
- Student lounge located on the Academic Building second floor (B&W)
- Albertus Hall 228 (B&W)
- Grace Hauenstein Library (color)
- Regina Hall (B&W)
- St. Joseph Hall (B&W)
