This spring and summer, ÂÌñÒùÆÞ President Juan Olivarez, Ph.D. will engage alumni in a series of events throughout the state aimed at spreading the word about his plans for the College. Designed to communicate with these community members in an intimate setting, these talks offer alumni communication of and inclusion in these early stages of vision.

Having offered similar addresses to alumni throughout the country, Olivarez will focus on Michigan's Lakeshore, Traverse City, Grand Rapids and Detroit regions this May, June and July. In particular, the President will discuss what he denotes the "transformational era" of the next five years.

Talking points will include Aquinas' competitive edge as a twenty-first century learning college, breaking down the people, programs and physical and virtual environments that continue to offer students a contemporary experience. Secondly, Olivarez will explain the affordability of Aquinas, through its many scholarships, endowed professorships and funding through support services and financial aid. Lastly, the president will discuss Aquinas' financial sustainability, addressing the growth of its endowment, increased net tuition revenue and overall student demand.

Registration for these events are open to all alumni and friends, and are available online at aquinas.edu/foundation. Tickets are complimentary, but attendees must pre-register. Those who attend will be able to mingle with fellow alumni and community members, and share in the passion and vision of the College's president. Please see below for a detailed list of events.
