GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, (October 30, 2001) ? The ÂÌñÒùÆÞ Thespians (A.C.T.), a student-run club, will be presenting The Diary of Anne Frank. The production will be held in the Wege Student Center, Ballroom on Thursday and Friday, November 15-16, at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, November 18 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door -- $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and non-Aquinas students, and Aquinas students are free of charge.

The cast will also be performing a special children's performance on November 15 at 10:30 in the morning for Grand Rapids area schools. This performance will include a brief question and answer period during which the students will be able to ask the actors, actresses, and crew members about the show.

Monique Hayes, a junior from St. Clair Shores, Michigan, is directing this production of The Diary of Anne Frank. She also directed No Exit for A.C.T in last year's Spring Festival and she has performed as Laura in The Glass Menagerie and Renfield in Dracula with A.C.T. Monique also participated in a summer theatre workshop hosted by the London Theatre Exchange. Hayes plans on teaching history, theatre, and psychology at the secondary level.
